Friends Split Lottery To Honor Friendship Pact

Lottery
Three friends made a pact years ago that whoever wins a lotto, he/she should share it to everyone. On March 15, Kenneth Wilson bought a lottery ticket at a grocery in Twiggs County, Ga. He did not win the Powerball, but his number 3-7-21-44-53 won him $1 million.

Wilson honored the pact by sharing the winnings with his two friends, James Scoles and his cousin Sanford Watson.

Here is another interesting note. A day before Wilson bought the lottery ticket, Scoles opened a fortune cookie predicting the lucky break. It said ‘You’re going to win the lottery.’
