Race Car Kills 2 Spectators At Marysville Raceway Park

On Saturday, during warmup laps at Marysville Raceway Park in California, a race car slammed into the racetrack pits killing two people. The fatalities were a 68-year-old man who died at the scene, and a 14-year-old boy who was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The driver was uninjured, Johnson said.

Saturday’s race was the season opener for the California Sprint Car Civil War Series.
