Boy Admits Kutcher Prank and More

The 12-year-old boy (name withheld) has lots of guts to do all the prank calls to police. One of his pranks was calling the police last year reporting that criminals with guns and explosives had invaded the home of actor Ashton Kutcher and shot people.

The boy has already admitted that he did the prank. Aside from the Kutcher prank, the boy also made a hoax call about gunshots being fired on the Los Angeles-area property of teen pop star Justin Bieber.

He also made a false bomb threat allegedly saying there was a bomb at a Wells Fargo bank branch in Los Angeles.

All of the prank calls were placed in October.

The boy’s sentence is at the discretion of the court, which could decide on at-home probation or placement in a group home among other punishments, district attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.
