It’s the Oscars 2013 and I can’t wait for the “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Argo” movie to win major awards in tonight’s show (see the time here). What TV channel is the Oscars 2011 on? The ABC Television Network has the contract to carry the annual Academy Awards presentations. ABC has been home to the Oscars for many years, having aired a total of 48 of the annual telecasts.

The Academy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 24 on ABC at 8:30 EST. Red carpet coverage begins at 5 p.m. EST.

“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane will be hosting The Oscars for the first time.
