Rubio Reaches For Water: Reacts on Good Morning America (VIDEO)
Sen. Marco Rubio appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America this Wednesday morning and reacted about the now-viral “Rubio Reaches For Water” video. Last night, the Senator from Florida delivered the Republican response to the 2013 State of the Union. In the middle of his address, he paused, looked sideways, grabbed a bottle of water, and then took a sip.
“I needed water, what am I going to do” Rubio told me this morning on “Good Morning America”. “God has a funny way of reminding us we’re human,” he said.

Rubio also commented about the country’s debt, saying “What really threatens to shut down our government is the $16.5 trillion debt and no serious plan to deal with it, including last night when the president seems to believe we’re halfway to our goal of reducing our debt to an acceptable level. I mean no one is going to think that that is realistic when you start to look at the numbers. That’s the real threat to shutting down our government. No one here is talking about shutting down the government.”
