Flight Attendant Fired For Finger Gesture While Inside Plane

While Aeroflot airline flight attendant, Tatiana Kozlenko, might have thought that giving the middle finger at passengers while inside the plane and posting it on Russia’s social network, Vkontakte, was funny, others thought it was not.

According to RT news, the photo first appeared online in October 2011, but never became viral. IT was until a renowned Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov reposting the picture on Twitter that Aeroflot took action. The airline fired Kozlenko and posted this statement on its official Twitter account:

“The fact of posting a photo shows Tatiana’s attitude towards passengers and her duties. She acknowledged her fault when she spoke to the leadership of the company.”

Kozlenko contradicted the statement, saying, “I don’t consider myself guilty! The photo was added to my page, I only tagged myself on it!!! The hand isn’t mine, the plane is not my company’s!!! I don’t understand what they spoil my life for!!! I’m asking you for help and support!!!”
