Price Middle School Shooting In Atlanta Injures One Student

Emergency Management Services in Atlanta said that a 14-year-old male student was shot in the head at Price Middle School shooting Thursday afternoon.

The Atlanta police department said the shooting happened around 1:50 p.m. and the suspect, identified as a student, has been taken into custody.

The victim was alert, conscious and breathing when he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. One teacher was also injured, but not shot, sources said.

Authorities are investigating this incident.
