44 Years, No Sick Days For The Retiring Postal Employee (VIDEO)

Kudos to the hardworking, Deborah Ford, a retiring postal employee in Detroit who never has been absent from work for 44 years she has been in postal service. Her “no sick days” record summed up to 11,000 days of working without being ill.

In an interview with the Detroit’s local NBC affiliate WDIV, she said:

“I wasn’t sick…well, a minor illness here and there, but you shake it off! Your mother told you, you’ll feel better when you get there!”

According to the Detroit Press, the 64-year-old, Ford, will get a 5% increase in her pension for the unused sick days.
