Djokovic Beats Murray For Australian Open 2013 Title (VIDEO)
Novak Djokovic did it again! For the third time in the row, the Serbian tennis star won the Australian Open grand slam title on Sunday’s finale at the Rod Laver Arena. He beat British Andy Murray 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3), 6-3, 6-2. This is his fourth Australian title.
Djokovic is now one of the greats — only two other men, American Jack Crawford (1931-33) and Australian Roy Emerson (1963-67), who have won three or more consecutive Australian championships.
“It’s definitely my favorite Grand Slam,” he said in a post game interview. “It’s an incredible feeling winning this trophy once more. I love this court.”
