15,000 Crocodiles Escape Farm in South Africa

South African local newspaper, Beeld, reported that around 15,000 crocodiles escaped from the Rakwena Crocodile Farm near the border with Botswana.

The incident occurred when the flood waters rose and the farm owner opened the gates to prevent a storm surge from destroying the property.

Although a few thousands crocs have already been recaptured, there are still many that are at large.
