The Client List Season 2 Premieres March 10

Jennifer-Love-Hewitt-The-Client-List “Riley Parks” is back!! Lifetime’s hit drama series The Client List, starring and executive produced by Golden Globe® Award nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt, will return for its long-awaited second season on Sunday, March 10, at 10:00pm ET/PT. Leading up to The Client List’s return, Lifetime will air mini-marathons of the series’ first season on Sunday, March 3, and Sunday, the 10th. Last year The Client List propelled Lifetime to number one in the Sunday 10:00pm time period among Women 18+.

After last season’s cliffhanger finale, season two of The Client List promises to be no easier for Riley Parks (Hewitt) at home or at work. The Texas single mother of two who, after being deserted by her husband and left in financial straits, took a job at a seemingly traditional day spa only to learn that sexual favors are being offered there on the side. After her estranged husband “Kyle” (Brian Hallisay) returns, for better or for worse, Riley must walk the fine line between her anger and love for him and the romantic feelings she has for her brother-in-law “Evan” (Colin Egglesfield). Riley also takes a larger role at the spa, resulting in added power, responsibility and burden, further complicating her life. New threats abound this season and trust becomes an overwhelming issue for Riley as everyone, even those she believes she can count on the most, seems to be hiding their own secret. Also starring in The Client List are Golden Globe winner Cybill Shepherd as Riley’s mother “Linette” and Emmy® Award-winning actress Loretta Devine as The Rub of Sugarland’s owner “Georgia.”

Based on the network’s hit 2010 original movie, The Client List is executive produced by Hewitt, Dannielle Thomas (The Client List), Howard Braunstein (The Client List, The Informant!), Ed Decter (In Plain Sight, There’s Something About Mary), John J. Strauss (In Plain Sight, There’s Something About Mary), Michael Reisz (In Plain Sight, Boston Legal) and Allan Arkush (Heroes, Crossing Jordan), who also serves as director, with Fedora Films and Jaffe/Braunstein producing, in association with Sony Pictures Television. It was developed by Jordan Budde. Lifetime has ordered 15 episodes of The Client List, up from last season’s ten episode order.

Season one of The Client List delivered Lifetime’s strongest freshman season for an original series since 2009 among Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Women 25-54. Among Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49, it was Lifetime’s best freshman season since Army Wives in 2007.
