12-Year-Old Guilty of Murder: Boy Killed Father (VIDEO)
The boy was 10 years old when he shot and killed his father, Jeffrey Hall, on his sleep. Hall was asleep on a couch in the early morning hours of May 1, 2011, when his young son crept downstairs with a .357 magnum revolver and shot him point-blank in the head.
According to the LA Times, the boy’s father was a West Coast leader for the neo-Nazi organization known as the National Socialist Movement. The judge said Hall’s attempts to indoctrinate his son into the hate group corrupted the thought process of a disturbed boy who already had displayed violent tendencies.
Today in a California courtroom, the boy who is now 12 was found guilty of second-degree murder of his father. A juvenile disposition hearing is scheduled for Feb. 15.
The boy was charged as a juvenile and he could be held in juvenile detention until he is 23.
