Identical Twins Give Birth The Same Day (VIDEO)

Aimee and Ashlee Nelson, 19, are identical twins and both gave birth on the same day — on New Year’s Day! Their babies were born about two hours apart on Monday at Summa Akron City Hospital in Ohio.

According to the twins, they did not plan to give birth at the same time. In fact, their due dates were about a week apart. Aimee’s expected due date was on January 6, and she was the first one who was brought to the hospital on Monday. Ashlee’s due date was January 1, and came to the hospital much later that day.

Aimee welcomed a 7lb, 2oz son named Donavyn Bratten.

Ashlee gave birth to an 8lb, 12 oz girl named Aiden Dilts.
