Ann Curry Begs NBC To Release Her, Eyeing CNN Slot
NBC’s Ann Curry begs NBC to release her from contract so she could get a slot on CNN. Incoming CNN boss Jeff Zucker wants to hire Ann Curry to take Anderson Cooper’s coveted 8pm slot.
NBC bosses are unwilling to release Curry without a fight.
‘If Ann were to just quit, there is a non-compete clause, which would prohibit her from working for another news outlet for two years,’ the insider said.

Yes, she should leave.I was mad when they put her off the Today show. She was why I watched. It is not the same anymore. I miss her so I seldom watch it. The new girls are not the same. She was so neat, but professional and loveable.
