2013 First Night Boston New Year Celebration

first-night-button-2013Celebrate the New Year and join the First Night Boston 2013 New Year Celebration! There will be fireworks, a huge parade, Harbor cruises, entertainment throughout the day and night, music, and spectacular ice sculptures by renowned artists.

First Night Boston is the oldest, largest, and most elaborate New Year’s Eve event of this type in the U.S. and has part of what makes the city special since 1976. Here in Boston, we’re also sure it’s the best Boston New Year’s Eve 2013 celebration.

One thousand artists, musicians, and performers entertain the crowds in more than 200 performances at the Hynes Convention Center, Copley Square, Boston Public Library, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, Berklee Performance Center, theaters, churches, the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common, and numerous other venues.

Because First Night events take place across such a wide area, the New Year’s Eve festivities never seem too crowded, despite the number of people who turn out for this giant party.
