This quote, “and i’ll forget about you long enough to forget why i need to..” puts country singer, Taylor Swift, in a controversy, for using it in her song “All Too Well” off her chart-topping ‘Red’ album.

The same line is used by Matt Nathanson’s song “I Saw”, released in 2003. In the song, around the 1:44 minute mark, the line goes, “and i’ll forget about you long enough to forget why i need to.”
