Andy Murray Beats Roger Federer For London Olympic Gold Medal

British tennis star, Andy Murray, took the London 2012 Olympic gold medal by beating favorite Roger Federer in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-4, during the men’s singles finals at the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon.

While winning his first Olympic gold medal, Murray also denied Federer his first Olympic singles gold.
