WGWG: Phillip Phillips is The Winner of American Idol 11 (Video)

As predicted, a white guy with guitar, or WGWG, will win American Idol. And it happened tonight as Phillip Phillips was named winner for season 11! Since 2008, guys have been winning the singing show. While many thought that Jessica Sanchez could finally break the trend, the efforts of her fans were not just enough.

Phillip will be releasing his winner’s single called “Home.”
