Oldest Flower Silene Stenophylla Comes to Life (Pictures + Video)

Believed to be the oldest flower existing right now, the Silene stenophylla was lost for 30,000 years but now has blossomed! Thanks to the scientists who discovered a burrow 125 feet below the surface that contained fruit and seeds left in the Siberian permafrost by a squirrel that buried them thousands of years ago.

The flower is now back to life.
