It is the big day of the Super Bowl and it is the day America stood still (with jaw dropping in every pass and kick of the ball) — everyone is either in the bar or at home with friends and family on the couch! So what time is the Super Bowl 2012 really kicks off? The New York Giants face the rival New England Patriots in Indianapolis starting at 6:30 PM ET.

NBC will exclusively cover the Super Bowl broadcast live at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
