The Playboy Club TV Series Axed

The Fall season just started and NBC is the first station to axe a show. The Playboy Club, which debuted three weeks ago, did not fare well in the TV ratings game with its three low-rated episodes. Last night’s final broadcast averaged just over 3 million viewers!

NBC announced Monday that it was pulling its drama series and will put “Prime Suspect” reruns until “Rock Center with Brian Williams” debuts on Oct. 31.
