Serena Williams vs Samantha Stosur in U.S. Open Finals
Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki was no match against the force of Serena Williams as the latter hit 11 aces at the US Open semi-final in a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
Serena Williams will play for her fourth US Open title Sunday against No. 9 Samantha Stosur of Australia, who beat Angelique Kerber 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
The 27-year-old Stosur became the first Australian to reach the US Open women’s final since Wendy Turnbull in 1977.
