Venus Williams Back in Wimbledon 2011

The 31-year-old Venus Williams is back in Wimbledon. The 5-time Wimbledon champion who have been missed on court for quite a while because of abdominal injury, beat Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan 6-3, 6-1 Monday on the first round match.

The match match took only an hour.

Next, Venus Williams will face Kimiko Date-Krumm, of Japan, who beat Britain’s Katie O’Brien, 6-0, 7-5.
