The Lion King 3D Movie

The Lion King movie is back in theaters, this time it will be shown in 3D. Disney announced on Thursday that “The Lion King 3D” will hit movie theaters on Sept. 16, 2011.

Also, ‘The Lion King – 3D’ (4-disc combo pack) and an 8-disc ‘The Lion King Trilogy’ will be available in the first week of October.

Full specs and details are still forthcoming, but suggested list price for ‘The Lion King’ on Blu-ray is $39.99, ‘The Lion King – 3D’ is $49.99, and the 8-disc ‘The Lion King Trilogy’ is $100.
