Mobbed TV Show Premieres on FOX
What a tear-jerker! The FOX show called Mobbed with host Howie Mandel was awesome. “Mobbed” uses hidden cameras and thousands of unpaid volunteers recruited via social network sites who help special guests plan “extraordinary surprises” — a marriage proposal or a husband learning that his wife is pregnant — for friends, family members, loved ones and co-workers.
Tonight, Justin surprised Nikki with a marriage proposal.

Awesome!!!! Horrifying is more like it. That poor woman. I sure hope that wedding wasn’t legal, as she needs to dump that cruel man as soon as possible. Imagine watching that video in the years to come. First the dirty trick with the “old flame”, then having that awful, non-fitting wedding dress forced on you, and standing before millions of people with your mascara all over your teary (panicked) face. At this point I turned it off, because I could not stand to watch her suffer any more. Howie Mandel should be drummed out of television for this monstrosity of a program.
OMG – Absolutely horrifying! I was laughing so hard that tears were rolling down my face at the absurdity of the whole thing. Loved the guy in the bar at the beginning in the giant clown tie, bright red hat and white capris. No, that didn’t give away that this was a hoax! LOL That poor woman having to wear that horrifying gaping dress OVER her shirt was more than I could take but it got even better. She had to watch her fiancee and his friends attempt to dance in front of her while she was trying on the gown. I will be shocked if this show ever airs another episode. It was good for a laugh though.
I had tears running down my face, all my life I have been dreaming of a moment so big so romantic. Fox and Howie Mandel were able to show us that it is possible to show someone how much you care and how much you want to make them happy! A moment like this some people wait a life time..for a moment like this. And I am a 45 year old Man :)
Viewed “Mobbed” last night. This was not a memorable day for the bride and she will realize this in the days to come once the numbness of it all fades. First, she is made to believe that her boyfriend has cheated on her and driven to tears. Then, she is thrown into an unattractive wedding gown, without having her clothes removed first which were visible near the neck line. Someone forgot to button up the back of the dress and her tiara was crooked. The bride was just made a spectacle of .. looked more like a Halloween party than a wedding. I just feel bad for the bride because that is one day that is so very special. “She asked her boyfriend, Are my parents here?” His response was, “Don’t worry about it.” tic tic :(
Horrible? how shallow are you princesses? She got a one of a kind wedding from a guy who was willing to put it out there for her. I just hope she shows appreciation for her man and stops the jealousy stuff – the guy really loves her and wanted it to be fun. And this show ROCKED. How do they top it? Both my hubbie and I sniffed through it.
As for the dress, etc, marriage is about marrying the person you LOVE – not getting to play frick’n Bridzilla where everyone and every thing must be to your out of control demands. IT IS HIS WEDDING TOO!! I am so sick of these entitled shackups who have lived together so long that they think they should have a big “me, me, me” party to make up for the fact that they left NOTHING special to getting married. You DON’T DESERVE the fancy wedding. It’s insulting to those of us who were actually happily looking forward to spending a lifetime with our man – and THAT made getting married special!
Married for almost 30 years and still passionately in love!
I was actually a paid dancer in the mob for this episode and witnessed the proposal and wedding first hand… The bride was overjoyed and had her friends and family present… She was playful about the situation and enjoyed the surprise because she saw it for what it was: a grand gesture of love from a man who wanted to make a life long commitment to her.
[…] marriage proposal that was very Glee-style. Check out the video on top and read the full story here. The premise of the show is to use a mobb of singers, dancers, and actors to surprise a person […]
