Anderson Cooper Attacked in Egypt (Video)

CNN Political Coverage Manager, Steve Brusk, just tweeted that Anderson Cooper has been attacked in Egypt while covering the ongoing unrest in the country. Attackers were to be Hosni Mubarak’s supporters, according to CNN report.

Here is Steve’s tweet:

“Anderson said he was punched 10 times in the head as pro-Mubarak mob surrounded him and his crew trying to cover demonstration”

Whew! The protest is getting very violent.

Cooper, in an interview early this morning said, “We were set upon by pro-Mubarak supporters punching us in the head.” Cooper said that he and the crew tried to escape, but that the crowd only grew: “the crowd kept growing, kept throwing punches, kicks…suddenly a young man would look at you and punch you in the face.”
