Groundhog Day 2011 Weather Predictions

Groundhog Day 2011 is on Wednesday, February 2. Which groundhog will you be watching to predict the weather? Pennsylvania has the famous Punxsutawney Phil. But there are also others out there rivals Phil’s popularity.

Buckeye Chuck from Ohio – Buckeye Chuck will appear on Wednesday on Groundhog Day. On Feb. 2, he will emerge from his personal den, in the woods behind the studios of 1490 WMRN-AM Radio, to deliver his forecast.

Staten Island Chuck – the groundhog emerge from his burrow every Feb 2.

Smith Lake Jake – This groundhog forecasts live from the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama.

Wee Willie 2 is for the Canadians.

Smith Lake Jake is my favorite Groundhog, and I live in Chicago. He is just so cute with his little hat on his head. His hat has his name on it also.
