Pentalobe Screwdriver For iPhone 4 Screws

Looking for a pentalobe screwdriver? Apple uses pentalobe screws for its iPhone 4 product to (maybe) prevent people from tinkering its inside. A bigger type of pentalobe screw has already been used for the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air products. The new type of screw is similar to Torx—except that the points have a rounder shape, and it has five points instead of six. Apple’s service manuals refer to them as “Pentalobular” screws.

Is there a way to open your iPhone 4 or any of the new Apple products? ifixit.com has a solution — the iPhone 4 Liberation Kit! Check it out.
