WALB School Closings

WALB posted a list of school closures and cancellations for Monday, January 10, 2011 due to weather disturbance. Governor Sonny Perdue has declared a state of emergency in Georgia as the state braces for a blast of winter weather expected to dump snow and coat roadways with ice. Georgia is expecting up to 6 inches of snow as the powerful winter storm moves into the state Sunday night. Forecasters say the front could also bring sleet and freezing rain lasting intoTuesday.
