Magnolia Shorty Murdered

Is it true that local rapper Magnolia Shorty was murdered? DJ Wild Wayne announced on the air on the hip-hop and R&B station Q93.3FM this: “”If y’all haven’t heard, Magnolia Shorty was killed today. I need to get my head together for a minute.”

The 28-year-old woman Magnolia Shorty was shot and killed together with another person about 12:30 p.m. in the 6300 block of Bridgehampton Drive in eastern New Orleans. Additional details on the shooting were not immediately available. Both victims had been shot several times, according to police. They were dead at the scene.
