Legendary singer Aretha Franklin has pancreatic cancer. WJBK FOX 2 News in Detroit confirmed that Franklin has cancer. A family insider told the station that she’s doing, “OK,” but they ask for the public’s prayers.

“Aretha is doing better than doctors expected,” her cousin Brenda Corbett tells the Free Press. “She has a long life in front of her and will be back in concert, on stage, late spring or early summer.”
