Outback Bowl 2011 – Lions vs Gators

Penn State is heading to the Outback Bowl 2011 to face Florida on Jan. 1. The Penn State Nittany Lions and Florida Gators will square-off in the 25th Anniversary Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day, bowl officials announced today. It will be only the third meeting between the two schools’ in history and the fourth appearance for both schools in the Outback Bowl.Read the full story.

Tickets to the Outback Bowl are on sale through Ticketmaster and will be made available through the participating schools ticket offices.

The bowl kicks off in Raymond James Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on New Year’s Day.
