North Korea Bombs South Korea Yeonpyeong Island

Angry, North Korea bombs South Korea lately.

The latest attack of the North resulted to South Koreans soldiers killed, a dozen injured, and civilians fleeing in terror. The incident is believed to have been sparked by South Korean military exercises near their the disputed western border.

Officials said “dozens” of artillery rounds had landed on Yeonpyeong Island at in the Yellow Sea, 50 miles off the South’s northwest coast in an area close to a disputed sea border.

North Korea’s supreme military command said Tuesday that it would “launch merciless military retaliatory strikes.”
