Magnificent Mile Lights Festival 2010 Kicks Off

The 2010 Magnificent Mile Lights Festival presented by Harris on Saturday, November 20, 2010, is gearing up to be bigger, better and brighter than ever! This year marks the 51st year the iconic white lights have brightened Michigan Avenue, and the 50th anniversary of the entire avenue being illuminated with light. Michigan Avenue was the first street in the world to adopt this annual holiday tradition in 1960.

This year’s event will be broadcast LIVE on ABC7 Chicago at 6pm on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Catch it again on December 5 at 1:00pm and December 18 at 12:30pm.
