John of God Documentary on Oprah Show (Video)

The documentary film of filmmaker Fergus Tigue about Brazil’s John of God was featured on the Oprah Show today. John of God is a spiritual healer and psychic surgeon.

John of God (Joao de Deus) claims to work with spirits while working through prayer and meditation on the thousands who come to see him in his healing center, the Casa Dom Ignacio in central Brazil.

The documentary was shot between 2003 and 2005 and showed John of God performing his rituals.
