Marine Corps Birthday – Celebrate its 235th Year

Celebrate with the Marine Corps for its 235th birthday. The United States Marine Corps turns 235 years old on November 10, 2010. The Marines of Yuma’s air station will commemorate the event by holding a cake-cutting ceremony and a uniform pageant at 10 a.m., Nov. 10, 2010, on the base’s parade field.

The event is not open to the general public, though anyone with normal base access, such as military family members and retiree’s with Department of Defense vehicle decals, are welcome to attend.
