Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus Divorce

The parents of teen star Miley Cyrus – Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus – are splitting-up. News broke today that the couple have filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences” after 17 years of marriage.

Both issued a statement about their divorce on Wednesday:

“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
