California Earthquake Warning is Fake

The California Earthquake warning that has been running around Twitter accounts is fake. According to the message: “EARTHQUAKE WARNING; 6.0 to 7.0 earthquake likely in Southern California; Most likely in the Salton Sea or Chino Hills, Los Angeles area. September 29 – October 1. (Foreshocks Sep 27,28)”

The thing is, earthquake cannot be predicted. The rumor was started by someone named Luke Thomas, who owns the scam website called Quake Prediction.
