Mount Sinabung Volcano Erupts

The 2,400-meter high Mount Sinabung volcano in North Sumatra province in Indonesia erupted at 00:08 am Jakarta time Sunday (1708 GMT Saturday) after 400 years of being dormant.

No one has been reported injured and over 10,000 people have been internally evacuated after the eruption.
