Arizona Election Results – August 2010 Election. John McCain won the GOP primary against challenger J.D. Hayworth. “I promise you, I take nothing for granted and will fight with every ounce of strength and conviction I possess to make the case for my continued service in the Senate,” said McCain. John McCain will go on to face a Democratic Party opponent in the November 2010 elections.
