Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj placed fifth or 4th runner-up on last night’s Miss Universe 2010 pageant. Maria Venus Raj had been topping online polls days before the final event in Las Vegas.

The top ten beauties were Albania, Australia, Guatemala, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and Ukraine.

One shocking surprise was Miss USA Rima Fakih missing out the semifinal round or the top 15 semifinalists.
