US News College Rankings 2011 List

The US News College Rankings 2011 are now posted online. US News Best Colleges rankings provide an excellent starting point for the college search. They allow you to compare at a glance the relative quality of institutions based on such widely accepted indicators of excellence as retention and graduation rates and the strength of the faculty. And they often lead students to discover unfamiliar schools, ranked near better-known quantities, and thus broaden their options.

This year, Harvard University regained sole possession of the top spot in U.S.News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2011 rankings of national universities. Last year, Harvard and Princeton University tied for first, but Princeton fell to second in the 2011 rankings of these large, research-oriented institutions.
