Milwaukee Airport Updates – Close Due to Flooding

More than six inches of rain fell in the Milwaukee area on Thursday, causing widespread flooding throughout the city and forcing Milwaukee Airport to close. Here is the latest news advisory as of July 23, 6:20 a.m.:

“DUE TO FLOODING ON THE AIRFIELD AND ROADWAYS LEADING TO THE AIRPORT, MITCHELL AIRPORT IS CLOSED UNTIL AT LEAST NOON, FRIDAY.

Travelers should contact their airlines before heading to the airport to determine the status of their flights and make alternative arrangements if needed.”
