Bayou Country Superfest on Memorial Day Weekend 2010

The music lineup of the first Bayou Country Superfest is filled with superstars, as Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Brooks & Dunn headline the first-ever music festival held at LSU’s famed Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, organizers announced today. Scheduled over Memorial Day Weekend 2010 (Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30), Bayou Country Superfest will bring together the biggest stars in country music for a huge two-day celebration on the campus of Louisiana State University. Other artists appearing at the festival include Jason Aldean, Kellie Pickler, Jake Owen, David Nail, Gloriana, and Justin Moore.

Quint Davis, producer/director of Bayou Country Superfest, who also produces the much-beloved Jazz Fest in New Orleans said, “We worked really hard to make sure that the music lineup for Bayou Country Superfest lives up the festival’s name—super! Tickets for Bayou Country Superfest go on sale through Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (800) 745-3000. Bayou Country Superfest will be a reserved-seating event, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early in order to get the best seats available. Single-day tickets start at only $40. Special VIP upfront, stage-side, standing-room tickets in an area called the Golden Horseshoe will be available in very limited supply. Also a limited number of discounted two-day ticket packages will be available at most price levels. Don’t forget to add parking to your ticket purchase in one of LSU’s premium parking lots.
