Guerdwich Montimere is Jerry Joseph – Permian High School Student

The name Jerry Joseph is fake. The 6-foot, 5-inch high school basketball star who led his Texas team, Permian Panthers, to the state play-offs has been revealed as a 22-year-old impostor. His real name is Guerdwich Montimere.

Montimere, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Haiti, was spotted in April by coaches from Florida who recognized him as having been a star high school player in Fort Lauderdale several years ago.

Montimere enrolled at a local junior high in February 2009 using a birth certificate that said he was 15-year-old Jerry Joseph. He then moved on to Permian High School in Odessa.
