Friday Night Lights Season 4 Premiere Online

It’s time for new beginnings in the Friday Night Lights season 4 premiere as Coach Taylor readies for a new football season at East Dillon.

Coach Taylor has two families — the West Dillon Panthers and the women he goes home to: wife Tami and daughters, Julie and Gracie.

For the team, he serves as a surrogate father, forcefully believing in their potential as young men and athletes. He provides them with paternal support, loyalty, discipline and the compassion and tough love that often they don’t find at home.

At home, Taylor has with Tami what critics describe as “the best marriage on television.” Husband and wife are often colleagues, juggling the demands of two jobs, marriage, and raising two strong-willed girls.

In his first year as head coach, Taylor led the Panthers to State, where they won, and he became the town hero. Two years later though the team returned to State but lost by two points. In a town where football rules, this didn’t sit well. Joe McCoy, the controlling father of Coach’s star quarterback, used his power and influence to get Coach Taylor fired.

When the town of Dillon was redistricted and split into west and east, Coach was offered the job of head coach at the newly opened, and severely impoverished, East Dillon High. He accepted and so, after years of sacrifice and commitment, Taylor’s Panther days are over and he begins a new chapter in East Dillon.
