Daisuke Takahashi Takes World Figure Skating Championships Gold

Japanese Daisuke Takahashi grabbed the gold medal at the World Figure Skating Championships in Turin March 25, 2010. he won the Olympic bronze medal in Vancouver. This is the first time that a figure skater from Japan captured the gold.

Patrick Chan from Canada won silver. Brian Joubert from France took the bronze.
