Verizon Network Down – Verizon Outage Resolved

For 4 hours on Tuesday, some Verizon customers in the Eastern U.S. have been affected by the Verizon outage. Some were hit with service slowdowns and others were not affected at all.

Verizon Network was down due to the defective software in one of its data centers. Verizon Wireless has confirmed that data service outages affected eastern U.S. customers.

Verizon tweeted that it has already resolved the issue: “VZW resolves early AM data issue that involved parts, not all, of eastern US: mix of some out, slower service, many unaffected from 4-8 AM.”
