MLB At Bat 2010 App Now in iTunes

Now in its third incarnation, MLB At Bat 2010 app launches today. MLB At Bat has become one of the best selling apps for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch in 2009. What do you get this year? Here’s a look:

Cost: The cost for At Bat has gone up this year, from the $9.99 in the past, to $14.99 for 2010.

Scoreboard Interface: The scoreboard interface (see image above) has been revamped to allow you to select Gameday Audio or streaming video (MLB.TV subscription required) at a touch.

News: A new addition is “News”, which hitches you to MLB.com stories.

Video Library Search: Users can now search by player or team.

Spring Traing Stats – For those getting At Bat 2010 early, there will be Spring Training stats added, but not until mid-March.

Enhanced Video: The description does not say how, but there will be enhanced video forthcoming for At Bat 2010 (regular season)

Streaming Video: iPhone and iPod Touch users will (once again) get streaming video. Last year, this was the only mobile platform to offer streaming video of games and highlights. It is unknown whether Blackberry or Android users will have streaming video as an option in 2010.
