‘Dear John’ Movie Tops Super Bowl Weekend Sales

The sci-fi love story movie, Dear John, starring a soldier (Channing Tatum) and his sweetheart (Amanda Seyfried) tops the ticket sales on Super Bowl weekend, ending the 7-week domination of Avatar. Here are the estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.
